Virginia Railway Express (VRE)

VRE provides weekday service from northern Virginia to Washington Union Station via two lines: the Manassas Line owned by the Norfolk Southern Railroad; and the Fredericksburg Line owned by CSX. The lines converge at Alexandria and connect to Amtrak for entry into Washington Union Station.
