NJ TRANSIT (NJT)

NJ TRANSIT (NJT) operates 12 commuter rail lines connecting New Jersey with New York City and Philadelphia. NJT uses the NEC Main Line between New York Penn Station and Trenton for its Northeast Corridor Line, while the North Jersey Coast Line branches off at Rahway to serve the Jersey Shore. The Montclair-Boonton, Morris & Essex, and Raritan Valley Lines also use the NEC to connect to New York. Additionally, the Atlantic City Line connects Atlantic City and South Jersey communities to Philadelphia via the NEC.
